Rachael Clegg

I think this is a really exciting opportunity to promote culture, diversity and equality in our region. It has been amazing to see the positive steps that have been made within our deanery and profession over the last 10 years including the recent BOA guidance on parenthood.

Through my recent experience in rejuvenating and coordinating our deanery teaching programme I have demonstrated that I am an approachable and committed colleague. I have had the opportunity to make connections with the majority of our trainees and am keen to develop this in a more pastoral role.

If I were to be appointed to this role, I would be an advocate for the continued progression of inclusivity in our region and work together with the other regional champions to develop national strategies to level the playing field for all.
